Shanghai - F1 19/10/08

As Shanghai is quite close… and we got the opportunity to go there for the Sinopec F1 Chinese Grand prix…. We took that chance, even though we got the bit more expensive tickets for 680RMB which is still quite cheap compared to Germany…so I got there….all together 100EUR. There was my seat....(我=ich)

But quite frankly the race itself wasn’t that exiting…. in our curve we didn’t saw any interesting actions…. Except from the Porsch Asia race….. But Formular 1 was interesting though…the sound from the engines was amazing…. Really loud and powerful, luckily I had purchased some earplugs before.

The way to the racetrack was quite various… first taxi to the train station, then the fast train to Shanghai 1:18 there we gathered with my new friends from lawn&garden, Paul and Peter who got the most expensive tickets for the race…but for less price coz someone made a mistake…..then we took the subway to the stadium ( here also the group dividing started…arrg) [some always need there own way, best is keep to your self]……from the stadium was a shuttlebus service to the track… we took the same way back…. Anyway all I now remember what is to say…. For more details feel free to ask

Here some pics…

Ah, here some information about the track...: it has the shape as the Chinese sign “shang” from Shanghai. Shang also means “above”
